SINGAPORE, 13 July 2026 — Scorpio Electric, Singapore’s first electric motorcycle manufacturer, today announced a historic milestone: the successful on-road registration of the Lambda Scorpii electric motorcycle in Singapore.
Following the earlier Land Transport Authority conditional type approval, this official registration marks a significant milestone that the Lambda Scorpii is now fully road-legal in Singapore. Bearing its official licence plate, this Singapore registered Lambda Scorpii represents a celebratory moment for local automotive innovation and progress. Scorpio Electric is the first home-grown automotive manufacturer to design, engineer, and
successfully register a premium high-performance electric motorcycle for Singapore roads.
Progress for Singapore’s Electric Vehicle Ecosystem
Named after a star in the Scorpius constellation, the Lambda Scorpii represents a blend of avant-garde aesthetics and smart urban mobility. Having already attained European Whole Vehicle Type Approval, this first local registration confirms that the Lambda Scorpii meets Singapore’s highest standards for safety, technical infrastructure, and civil defence emergency readiness.
